HELP - Employees cannot access their paystubs - ERRORS

Anyone know who to contact if an employee shows signed up in the cloud for viewing paychecks and tax forms? I have a few employees who say they keep getting error when they try and sign in and cannot view. I would appreciate any help.

A ticket has been created for some employees who are getting an error when accessing their paystubs online.

 

Your employees can contact our QuickBooks Workforce Support to add their account to the investigation (INV-40348). Just click the Live Chat link to chat with our representatives. The screenshot below highlights this.

What is the ETA to getting this resolved, it's been affecting my client for months, her employees are furious

@bselko Thank you for reaching out for assistance. I can understand the frustration around not being able to view paychecks. Have you tried sending a new invitation to employees so they can go through the setup process again? Many times this fixes the issue, I would have them clear cache and cookies on their browser before they start the process.

I am having the same issue. Wish QB would have a part to reinvite the employees. I have found if they do this the employees can sign in. I have two companies & my new company keeps giving them an error: “something is not right, contact your employer “. Well this employer have talked to QB rep for four days & still not getting anywhere. Hate paying a higher cost & not getting any results

You can resend an invitation to your Employees. No worries, I've provided the steps below on how to do this in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll with ease:

  1. From the Employees menu, select Manage Payroll Cloud Services.
    • Note: If you don’t see Manage Payroll Cloud Services, you need to update QuickBooks.
  2. Under QuickBooks Workforce, toggle the status to ON, then select Invite Employees.
  3. Your employee list will appear. Select the employees you want to add to Workforce, then add their email addresses.
  4. Hit Send Invite. Once sent, you should see "Invited" under the Status column.

There is no true resend option.  These employees accepted the invite, had the functionality, then when QB migrated to Workforce ready they lost it.  When I go into QB desktop, they show as "signed up" so I can't do anything to help them.

Let me help with this concern so that your employees will be able to access their pay stubs, @bselko.

 

Since your employee's information is sync to their previous ViewMyPaycheck account, it could be that the system was unable to recognize them during the migration to the new Workforce website.

 

However, we can still sync their account by means of refreshing it. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to www.quickbooks.com/account.
  2. Select Forgot your Password? or Forgot your User ID?
  3. Follow the steps to retrieve your Password or User ID.
  4. Try to log in again.

 

If they are still unable to access their pay stub, I recommended reaching out to Workforce chat support. This way, they manually check each of your employee's accounts so they can recover their access. They are available between Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.

I am furious as well. This issue has not been resolved and a simple clearing of everything doesn't work. The same error message appears over and over again, it's ridiculous and certainly uncalled for.

My employee is having the same problem.  It says she is signed up, but she does not even receive notification.  When she called, they said they did not even have the e-mail address.  I attempted to change the e-mail, but that also was not allowed.

This is a very difficult site to navigate.

Currently, there’s an open investigation (INV-65780) regarding this matter. Thus, our engineers are still working on a permanent fix for this issue.

 

For real-time assistance with our support, I suggest you contact our support team. They can assist you in real-time and walk you through every step of the process. Also, they’ll be able to add you to the affected users and notify you once a fix is available.

Currently, we don't have a workforce team that you can talk to via phone. They are available via chat.
