Currently, we are unable to generate a Payroll Detail Report (or any other report) that shows the history of an employee's hourly pay rates. I can download most other details surrounding payroll history but being able to see the rate per hour for specific time periods would be really helpful to our team.
It’s nice to see you in the Community, erinMo.
I recognize the importance of being able to see the history of an employee’s pay rate. This allows you to see the changes made to their wages.

Thank you, I have submitted the feedback form online as well. I've done this several times in the past though and have never heard back about any feedback so I was hopeful posting here may put it front of some other QB support eyes.
If we subscribe to the QB Payroll Online version, do we have access to the Desktop version for download?
Thanks for joining the discussion, @erimMo.
I can share some insights about our QuickBooks subscriptions and their differences.
Our our online and desktop versions of QuickBooks uses different database, and are completely separate platforms. If you but the online payroll subscription, it will not include desktop licenses for download.

We would also love to see QB Online Payroll provide us with a report showing a history of our employee's rate of pay. It's crazy to pay this amount of $$ each month for the Online version and this report only be available to QB Desktop users. Come on, Quickbooks. Helps us out sooner than later. And yes, I've provided feedback already asking for the Employee Pay Adjustments History
This report is absolutely important and it makes no sense at all to consider it important enough to put in ONE platform of QB but not another. As more and more switch to the Online version, this matters.
Why is there no report in quickbooks that lets you run a report to show the hourly rate on their paystubs for the pay period. This is required for workers comp issues and we do not have a report for Quickbooks Online to generate it.
Hello there,
We recognize that each company has unique needs. And I know how important and more convenient for you and your business to run a report that shows the hourly rate of the employee's paystubs for a specific pay period.
While the feature isn't available, I suggest submitting feedback within the QBO account. This way, it goes to our product developers to help improve your experience while utilizing the program.

I'm joining in this conversation in hopes that someone from Intuit sees this and actually does something about it. It's absurd that I can't run a simple report showing an employees name and rate of pay. Simple. Easy Peasy. Right? Not! And it should be!!
Add Rate of Pay to some report somewhere!!
I can imagine your challenges with the absence of the rate of pay in the payroll reports, dw417. I appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to my attention.
Being able to pull up a report where you can see the rate of pay is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Thus, I recommend sending feedback so that our team developer might be able to consider including it in the software. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and thank you for your contribution to helping us enhance our services.
