How can I add employee pay for SALARIED employee if a previous payroll was short?

The salaried employee was shorted for one pay period during previous calendar year.  Need to add here to regular salary as regular pay with tax withheld.

How can I add employee pay for SALARIED employee if a previous payroll was short?

I know how important it is for you to run your payroll with ease in QuickBooks Online, @LBinMD. Allow me to help you reach out to the correct support to correct your payroll. 

 

Since dealing with payroll correction is crucial in QuickBooks and entering payroll for prior years can't enter due to some error message. I recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support Team. They can pull up your account and help you correct your payroll. Also, they can closely examine the problem and conduct further troubleshooting to fix it.

 

Here are the steps:

 

  1. Navigate on  the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, select the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your queries and hit on Let's Talk.
  4. Choose either Start a chat or Call us.

 

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and click the Contact a human button.
  3. Select Live Chat / Call me back.
