Yes, as I said, I have followed all of the steps. I do not have pending payroll or tax payments. When I click on settings, the new bank account displays that it is connected to payroll. Yet when I try to create a payroll check, it still displays the previous bank account (which, by the way, is incorrect. Somehow, as of 11/1/2023 our bank connection changed the name of the account, so all of the payroll items including tax payments are now posting to an unlinked account without giving me the ability to change them.)

I have followed all the instruction and called so called expert agent several time. No one in intuit can resolve the issue. I have provided everything they asked such as void check, bank statement, direct deposit form etc.
I spent hours with intuit agent, I allowed them to share screen. We check, double check, triple check every thing. The problem: I just need to change bank account for my client in QB desktop. I followed the instruction as you mention, and Intuit agent walked me thru, The problem we get stuck at "UPDATE":
Under bank account information, select EDIT to bank account, enter pin, continue, enter bank info, then select UPDATE. That's where we get stuck. It will not update. See attached file.
Then they will put me on hold so they can talk to back office, they asked us to down load more info and say will be ok within 24 to 48 hours.
ABSULUTLY NO.
Next day we get email, need more info, call expert, same routine, more files upload, next day get email, call intuit, same routine, back office, 24 hours, next day email again, problem still exist, call intuit........................
I am the accountant and this kind of issue cause me to lose my client. It is beyond my imagination that Intuit unable to solve a simple changing bank issue.
