Currently, we can edit the hours worked, hourly rate, pay method, and pay dates on all types of paychecks but not the pay period.

Is this limitation still the case? I want to issue a bonus check that reflects this year as the pay period, but it's forwarding to the next year. It's 12/31, so it's important to make this update for tax purposes.

I know how important it is to change the pay period, however, the option to do so is unavailable in QuickBooks Online.
I'd suggest submitting feedback within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, it goes to our product developers to help improve your experience while using the program. Here's how.
