If you want to delete a user from your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company file, let's remove that individual from the User List page:

 

  1. Open your QBDT company file and navigate to the Company menu.
  2. Select Set Up Users and Passwords, then Set Up Users.
  3. Click the user from the User List.
  4. Hit Delete User and confirm the action by ticking Yes.

 

However, if it's about deleting an authorized user in your Intuit account, it's possible by visiting the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPS) website. Then, delete the user from there:

 

  1. Log in with your Intuit account from the CAMPS website: Welcome to Customer Account Management Portal.
  2. Choose the product or service you'd like to manage from the Manage your QuickBooks page and ensure you have the correct account.
  3. Navigate to the Authorized Users section and pick the user you want to remove.
  4. Hit Remove User and confirm by clicking Remove.

You can also modify the business or contact names on your Intuit account. Doing so ensures you have up-to-date details in the system.
