Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community forum. I'll help you with exporting your payroll data to an IIF file.
You can export out your payroll data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to an Excel file. You can run payroll reports to get the information you need. Here's how:
From the report's page, tap on the drop-down arrow under Share, then click on Export to Excel. For some reports, you can click on the Export icon, then Export to Excel.
Once the data are available in Excel, you can convert them to an IIF file from there.
For more tips about handling reports, you can open this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
On the other hand, if you want to transfer your list or data to QBO, you can open this link as your guide: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
If you have any other follow-up questions about exporting your payroll data, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
@Angelyn_T RE: Once the data are available in Excel, you can convert them to an IIF file from there.
Do you actually think that's a reasonable thing to tell a customer? Have you ever seen an IIF file and compared it to a payroll report from QuickBooks? They are nothing alike. Not even close.
