How do I print paychecks from a previous payroll date?

I've come to ensure you'll able to print paychecks from a previous payroll date, Lmonigold1999.

You'll first need to set up your printing preferences to prevent printing errors in your QuickBooks account. To do that:

  1. Go to Settings and select Payroll Settings.
  2. From the Printing section, select Edit.
  3. Select how you’d like to print your paychecks or pay stubs.
    1. Pay stubs on plain paper.
    2. Paycheck on QuickBooks-compatible check paperSelect the type of QuickBooks voucher you have (paycheck and 1 pay stub or paycheck and 2 pay stubs). Then select Align check* to set up the alignment.
  4. Select Save.

Once done, here's how you can print your employee's paychecks:

  1. Go to Payroll, and click Employees.
  2. Select the Paycheck list below Run payroll.
  3. Select the paycheck you want to print. You can select the Filter dropdown to change the Date range or Employee.
  4. In the Action column, click Print.
  5. A preview of the paycheck or pay stub opens. Select the printer icon to print.

Additionally, you can add pay history to enter your employee's year-to-date paycheck information and company totals. It includes detailed steps on how to enter your company totals for each payday made to your employees.

Moreover, you can perform some troubleshooting steps if you'll encounter any printing errors and browser issues.

Please keep us posted if you have additional questions when printing paychecks in QuickBooks Online. We'll be around to assist you at any time. Take care!

How do I print paychecks from a previous payroll date?

Thank you!!!   That was exactly what I thought but feel much better with confirmation before I started deleting payrolls.

I thought the date was what was causing the issue.

I was able to delete the 6/2/23 payroll and then the 5/26/23 went through.  I then reentered the 6/2/23 payroll and everything balanced.

Thanks again!
