Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, centralfloridain.

Federal forms can't be canceled once filed electronically. If you e-filed a federal form, but need to correct or change it, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and discuss what options are available.

They can be reached while you're signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Help (?) icon.

  2. Click Contact Us.

  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.

  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

They can also help you look into cancelling W-2 filings. State forms differ by each state with different policies for cancelling form filings. You can contact your state about state forms to check into the options available for cancelling your filing.

I've included a detailed resource about cancelling payroll forms which may come in handy moving forward: Cancel or delete payroll tax payments & forms

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a great Friday!
