I appreciate you taking the time to customize your Timesheet columns. However, this option isn't currently available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
As a workaround, you can run your Timesheet report and export it to Excel. From there, modify it to include the column you require. I'll show you how.
- Go to the Reports menu and select Report Center.
- In the search field, type in Timesheet.
- Find the Timesheet Report and click Run.
- Click the Excel button, then select either Create New Worksheet or Update Existing Worksheet.

- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Another option is to use a third-party app that allows you to customize your timesheet. Simply navigate to the App Center within your QBDT and search for an app from there.
I can see having the ability to customize your timesheet would benefit your company. I strongly advise you to send your feedback to our Development team. This way, they can review your suggestion and possibly include it in future updates. Here's how. Here's how.
- Go to the Help menu.
- Select Send Feedback Online.
- Then click Product Suggestion.
- Enter your suggestions and details then click Send Feedback.
