How do you turn off the incessant Intuit pop up advertisements and survey's while in QB Online?

While working in Quickbooks online full screen pop up ads for checking accounts and other Intuit products interfere with my work. Additionally, random surveys pop up. I am paying way too much a month to be interrupted by their marketing department. Is there a way to turn this incessant annoyance off?

How do you turn off the incessant Intuit pop up advertisements and survey's while in QB Online?

Hello there, wrdcomchurch-war.

I recognize that the pop-up is disrupting your workflow, and I'm here to assist you in maximizing your use of QuickBooks Online (QBO) for seamless operation.

We utilize in-product ads to enhance your QuickBooks experience by recommending timely and relevant new features and software updates. This is the cause of the pop-up messages or advertisements within your company. To avoid their reappearance, click the "X" or "Close" button.

Also, you can opt to activate the pop-up blocker in your browser. I can guide you on how.

  1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover to the Pop-ups and redirects section, and choose Block from the drop-down menu.

Here's how for the Safari browser:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Click Safari, then Preferences.
  3. Select Websites at the top
  4. Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
  5. Then, choose Block in the pop-up menu for the website.

If you need more help while working in QBO or have other product concerns, please keep me updated here. I'll make sure to assist you and ensure your needs are addressed. Take care!
