How so you change the payroll tax liability account for accrual. QB online

Welcome to the Community, @d-bright. I’m here to walk you through the steps on how to change the payroll tax liability account for accrual in QuickBooks Online.
 
You have the option to update your payroll accounting preferences. This way, you’ll be able to change your account.

 

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under your company select Payroll Settings.
  3. From the Accounting section, select Edit ✎.
  4. Edit details then click Done.

Also, you can generate several payroll reports to view useful information about your business and employees. For the complete lists of available reports, you can refer to this article: Run payroll reports. You can also customize them to focus and filter on specific accounts and all other details needed.
