Hi there, @andreaenger-phot.
Let me provide some information about setting up the contractor's direct deposit (DD) in QuickBooks.
Currently, setting up DD in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is unavailable. As a workaround, I'd suggest either utilizing a third party app or subscribing to a QuickBooks Online Account. Let me guide you on how to get an online account:
After that, add the contractor's profile, then set up the company and contractor bank data. For the complete steps, please hit this link: Pay a contractor with a direct deposit.
You have an option to invite your contractor to add their bank data. Once done, let your contractor open the invite email to create a QuickBooks Self-Employed Account. From there, they're able to enter their DD information. For more details, check out this article: Get direct deposits from your clients in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I've appended articles about various hubs in payroll, troubleshoot some issues, and other topics.
Do let me know in the comment field if you have other concerns. I'm just posting away. Keep safe!
