Hey, @mikeandkellieq

I hope your day is going well so far. I'm here to provide you with some helpful information with your question about the Payment Voucher 2 and Q1 Estimated Tax.

After looking further into this, I've discovered that your Q1 tax payment is overdue. Therefore, when you click the Pay Now button, QuickBooks is defaulting to the Q2 payment. That's why it says, "Payment Voucher 2." You can confirm by looking at the Amount to Pay This Quarter box on the form. Note: The amount should match your taxes due for Q2.

With this being said, you'll need to pay your taxes outside of the system, but you can still record the payment in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Here's how:

  1. Go to Taxes
  2. Select the Quarterly Taxes menu.
  3. Press Find your estimated tax payments under Q1.
  4. From there, you'll see different options that you can choose from

It's that simple! If you'd like additional information about paying Federal Estimated Quarterly Taxes, just check out this link.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Have a splendid day!
