I do not see that Quickbooks filed our Form 940. Where is there an option to print and mail a form 940?

I can share some information about printing and mailing Form 940@usermacalgrove2019

You can let QuickBooks pay your taxes and file your forms automatically by selecting Automate taxes and forms from the Payroll Settings in the Taxes and Forms section. If it's set to I’ll pay and file the right agencies through their website or by mail, you'll be the one to handle your taxes and filings yourself.

Here's how to check these references:

  1. Select Payroll Settings from your Settings ().
  2. Click the Edit () icon in the Taxes and forms section.
    • Review or choose one of the following: If you want QuickBooks to automatically pay your taxes and file your forms, select Automate taxes and forms.
    • If you want to pay and file electronically in QuickBooks, select I’ll initiate payments and filings using QuickBooks.
  3. Click on Save and then Done

To mail your 940 tax form to the IRS, you can refer to this link to learn the different mailing addresses: Where to File your Taxes for Form 940.

From here, you can run, print, and customize payroll reports to view employee info, wages, taxes, deductions, and many more: Run payroll reports.

This is no longer accurate. There is no forms section in the Payroll tax tab. The option does not exist, try again

  3. Scroll down to the lower section and pick a tax form.
  4. Select the dropdown menu and hit Preview.
  5. The ViewPdfForm window will appear, and from there, you can click on the Print icon to print your document.
