I filed my 1099 last week. my subcontactors received an email saying here is your 1099, but they cant retrieve it. why not. happening to all of them

Let's me help you retrieve the 1099 and perform some troubleshooting steps to know if it's a browser issue, @careclean.

 

Advise them to log in to their account using an incognito/private browser window and download it from there. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to help you open an incognito/private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • Mozilla: Ctrl+Shift+P.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

 

If they’re able to download the form, they need to clear your browser's cache to optimize its performance.

 

They can also access their account through another browser. 

 

However, if they're still unable to download it using the steps above, I recommend reaching out to our Phone Support Team for them to check the account in a more secure environment. I'm adding the steps below so you can reach them:

 

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact#.
  2. Choose a topic.
  3. Scroll down and click Get Phone Number.
