I have a check mark next to all the steps to proper set up payroll. It says payroll was processed yesterday. but I checked my bank account and no money has been disbursed

We can start by ensuring your Direct Deposit is activated under Payroll Settings. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Payroll Settings.
  3. Below Payroll, select Direct Deposit.
  4. Confirm the test transaction.

 

Once verified, let's make sure we know the lead time of your payroll service. Lead time is the span of time between the day you submit your payroll and the day your employees receive their direct deposits. This can affect the disbursement of the money from your bank.
