The reason why approved time isn't pulling through payroll could be due to incorrect payroll item mapping or QuickBooks timesheet export settings not being configured.
To ensure your payroll items mapping is correct, please follow the steps below:
- Access your QuickBooks Time and choose the QuickBooks selection.
- Select Preferences and then Payroll Item Mapping Tool.
- Then, under the Map Employees tab, choose one employee's name.
- Choose one payroll item for each hour type column. Selections are saved automatically.
- Once finished, close the window.
If all the data to export is correct, refer to the steps below:
- Head to the top right corner of QuickBooks Time. Select QuickBooks.
- Choose Export All Approved Time.
- When the Proceed with export? window appears, hit Export all hours.
- You can view the export details by clicking QuickBooks. Then, View Sync Log.
