QuickBooks requires the official Employer Identification Number (EIN). Since having SS-4 is still in the process of applying for an EIN, you'll need to wait until the IRS approves it.

but the letter I have is from IRS with Employer ID, once it is been given to me, I received that letter.

I have been asked for a business license, however, my city doesn't require us to have one. I also have a virtual business --from home. I have a CP 575 G notice from the IRS that says that my EIN number has been assigned to me and the letter serves as proof of my EIN. Can I submit this? I also have uploaded to my portal the status of my LLC just in case with my info on there as well.
