I have not had payroll in a bit, is there a way to indicate no payroll or do I just ignore entering anything?

Typical entering of payroll has been slow, because work is slow, question is regarding entering of payroll.

Yes, you can ignore the payroll or skip it if you prefer. We can also make changes to the payroll schedule so that it does not appear as overdue in QuickBooks Online. This is how you do it:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Under the Payroll and Services section, select Payroll Schedules.
  3. Under the Pay Schedules section, look for the pay schedule you want to update and click Edit.
  4. Change the Pay Period and Pay Date.
  5. Click OK.
