I'm being forced to switch from Intuit Online Payroll to QuickBooks Online Payroll Core. How do I transfer my data over? I don't use QuickBooks--only the payroll.

We can enter your prior payroll to QuickBooks Online. Let me show you.

First, we need the year-to-date (YTD) reports from Intuit Online Payroll. You can get it when you go to the Reports tab. You can also refer to this link: Learn about reports to use to enter prior payroll.

Once you have it, open your QuickBooks Online Payroll account.

1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Overview.
2. If you already added your business info, click Let's go to add the employees.
3. Click Add an employee and follow the on-screen steps.
4. Once added, click on the employee's name and select How much did you pay [employee] this year?, then +Enter [year] prior pay details. From there, you'll see the fields to enter how much you pay the employee.
5. Follow the steps to complete the process.

1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
2. When asked by the bot, enter "Prior Payroll".
3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.

I received an email saying that this transition would be "seamless" and "take less than one minute". This looks as though that's not the case. I was under the impression, that Inutuit Online Payroll was being phased out and replaced with QuickBooks Online Payroll and my information/employees/history would transfer over. Is this not the case? I've already signed up for QB Online Payroll Core and didn't see an option to import from Intuit Online Payroll.

Thank you but I'm not using QB online, only the QB payroll portion so I don't think this applies.
