Hi there, square3.

 

I'm here to share more information on how QuickBooks calculates income tax.

 

Income Tax is calculated on the income you have earned, minus your allowable expenses. How much Income Tax you pay depends on:

 

  • The amount you've earned above your personal allowance.
  • The amount of your income falls within each tax band.

 

I'd also suggest reaching out to your accountant so they can guide you more about the CA taxes.
