You have three options on how to reset your payroll PIN, @kimgilbert26.
First, if you still have the old pin change it in the Payroll Account Management Portal. It must be 8 to 12 characters. Then, there should have no combination of letters and numbers and no special characters. Here's how:
Second, change the pin in the Send Payroll Data window. You must log in as an admin to the program before performing this action. For more information, see the Method 2 section through this article: Change PIN for Processing Direct Deposit Payroll.
Third, if it lost or forgotten, you'll have to download the PIN request form. It must be signed by either the primary or secondary principal. Then, indicate your company's EIN and attach a photocopy of your government issued ID. Then, send the requirements via FAX or email as seen in the Reset a lost or forgotten PIN section.
Then you'll have reached out to our support team to get your new PIN number of your payroll service.
You can read out our Payroll and Workers website it provides articles that will help you manage your account in QuickBooks.

So you are telling me that there is no other possible way, but to waste time filling out forms and faxing the form with photo proof to you and sit on my hands waiting for a reply? How 1990's is that? That is stupid that QB doesn't or will not get a system that allows users to recover or reset forgotten/lost PINs. It has it for lost login in passwords. Why not for payroll assistant
