I want to add a new payroll item for all employees

Is it possible when adding a new payroll item for a new wage rate, to add it to all employees, rather than adding it one employee at a time?

Unfortunately, there is currently no functionality that enables mass updates for employee items and wages.

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand your concern regarding the payroll items for your employees. Unfortunately, adding payroll items for a new wage rate for all employees at once is not possible. You will need to add them individually for each employee.  

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on Payroll, then select the Employees tab.
  3. Select the Employee.
  4. Press on the Pay Types tab.
  5. Enter the Rate and the necessary details for the new payroll item.
  6. Save the changes.
