Intuit Online Payroll to Quickbooks Payroll Core

I'm having issues with this supposedly automatic transition that will only take 2 minutes. So far it has taken 3 hours!

I'm following these instructions: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/import-or-export-data-files/setup-export-of-iop-da...

On step 3F, Intuit Online Payroll is stuck in a continuous loop. I enter my QuickBooks Payroll Core login, which is the same as Online Payroll, and it never connects. It just asks me to login again, and again.

  1. Set up connection to QuickBooks Online

We have updated the export setup flow between IOP and QBO.
    1. In our payroll service, select the Setup tab.
    2. Under the Export heading, select Preferences.
    3. Select QuickBooks Online from the software drop down list.
    4. We will search for any existing QBO accounts under the current the current user ID.
    5. First, we search for an existing QBO account attached to the current user ID.
    6. If we don't find one, you will be asked to login to your Intuit Account.
    7. Since QBO only accounts don't require security questions, the system may prompt the customer to select a security question and answer.
    8. If the correct account is found, you can continue to the export process. If multiple accounts are found, you will be prompted to select one.
    9. Next, we will complete the connection process.
    10. Once completed, you can complete the export settings. NOTE: Select Payroll Liability accounts and Payroll Expense accounts to prevent any errors when setting up or exporting your payroll data.
    11. You are also given the option to change the QBO company you sync with.

I want to make sure you'll be guided to the right support, jwilson88.

I want to make sure you'll be guided to the right support. I'd like to check this for you and get it taken care of myself. However, as much as I would like to get this handled directly, transitioning payroll services needs the assistance of our Payroll Support.

> Has anybody had a "Let's Do It" link in their Intuit Online Payroll "To Do" list?

Intuit Online Payroll support is saying that we can't migrate until that link is visible. It may have been helpful if the emails from Intuit stated that!!!

When asking Intuit Online Payroll support when I may be able to migrate. They don't know nor do they have anybody they can ask.  You are kidding!

How did I get to Intuit Online Payroll....

QB Payroll looked into this with multiple tier 2 tech supports.  I talked to a customer service rep who chatted with tech.  Their solution was to talk with Intuit Online Payroll support.  (Again, the link with instructions in the previous post say to contact QB payroll support, but heck, we wouldn't expect support directions to be clear, would we.)

For those experiencing issues, QB support seems to be a higher caliber than Intuit Online Payroll, but again, nobody could solve a problem.

Update: 4+ hours of wasted time, no solution.
