Moving from QuickBooks online payroll to QuickBooks desktop payroll

I am CPA, my client is using QuickBooks Online Payroll to prepare and process their payroll checks and payroll returns. They also use QuickBooks desktop. Online payroll does not integrate with desktop so we have to re-enter every check. How can we move our payroll processing to the desktop and not lose the on line history.

I see the articles on going to online payroll but not from online payroll

THanks

You can enter your historical payroll details into QuickBooks Desktop, Fred.

This is to ensure that your year-to-date totals are accurate. This include the tax payments and the paychecks.

In addition, you'll want to pull up the other important reports and forms in QuickBooks Online before cancelling your online payroll subscription. You can print or export them and save in your local drive for your own records. You can access your online payroll data only for six months after the end of the tax year in which that data was collected.
