My icon sometimes does not show up when I want to go in and work??

Hi there, @vghomeimprovemen.

 

Missing icons in QuickBooks Online can be brought about by issues in the web pages. We can use a private browser to open your account and see if the icon shows up. It doesn't use the cache, which stores data that creates browser-related issues. 

 

Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If you can view the icons, let's switch back to the regular browser and clear its cache & historical data. This helps to restore the default setup of the browser. 

 

However, if you're affiliated with an accountant's subscription, it has been reported as an ongoing issue in QuickBooks Online Accountant. Our product team knows and is looking for a fix for the problem.

 

As a workaround, logged in to your account using the following URL to go through the initial setup and to get the icons to appear: http://qbo.intuit.com/app/setup?startIndex=0.

 

Meanwhile, I recommend contacting our Support Team at a time convenient to you. This way, they can add you to our list of affected users for easier communication and updates.
