Glad to have you here in the QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help with your question. Once you have set up and prepared your federal forms 940, 941 and 944 for e-file in QuickBooks Desktop. You can follow these steps to e-file Federal Forms 940, 941, and 944 in QuickBooks Desktop.
- Find Employees, then Payroll Tax Forms & W-2s, then Process Payroll Forms.
- In the Payroll Center, select File Forms tab.
- Select the form you need to file from the list.
- Select File Form.
- Select the form filing period and click OK.
- Review the forms and select Check For Errors. If needed, correct any errors.
- Select Submit Form button.
- Select E-File button and follow the on screen instructions to submit the form
