Need help how to clear this payroll items tasks already pay them but still showing

To ensure that I'm on the same page, may I know if you've paid them outside QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, that might be the reason why they're still showing in the payroll items tasks. In this case, you can record a prior tax payment to remove them.

Here's how:

1. In QBO, go to the Taxes menu at the left pane to get to the Payroll Tax page.
2. Click the Pay Taxes button, then Tax Type Name. This will provide you a split on the taxes that make the total deposit (take note of the details). 
3. Select Taxes & Forms in the left menu, then pick Enter Prior Tax History and select Add Payment.
4. Using the information provided on the Payment Due Details, enter the appropriate information.
5. Hit OK.
