There are times that the program will not respond accordingly because of the accumulated data saved in the browser that becomes outdated. Let's begin by using an incognito browser to verify if the data in your browser needs to be cleared.
Here are the shortcut keys to access an incognito browser:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Hold down ⌘ + Option + P
You can use an incognito browser while entering the W-4 form. If the details are saved after clicking the Done button, you can go back to the regular browser after the process and clear its cache. If not, you can use another supported browser to enter the W-4 form.
