No Workforce Emails after running payroll today?

Usually after running payroll our employees receive a link to view their Paystub. The email in the past has come from [email address removed]. Today no one received those emails and I just ran a message trace to see if anyone emails were sent from workforce.intuit.com but nothing.

 

Anyone else having this problem?

We haven't receive reports from other users experiencing the same problem. If there are no underlying browser issues, your employees should receive the email notifications.

 

If the issue persists in the next payroll, I'd recommend reaching our QuickBooks Workforce Team through this link: QuickBooks Workforce Chat. They'll be able to check your account and conduct further investigation in a secure environment.

No Workforce Emails after running payroll today?

Hello there, @OCTekguy.

 

Let's verify if the browser is causing this odd behavior. Let's follow the recommendation below to resolve this unexpected behavior.

 

  1. Refresh your browser by clicking the Reload icon or pressing F5 on your keyboard.
  2. If the same thing happens, we can log in to your account through an incognito window. This mode doesn't store cache that's why we recommend using it.

 

If it works fine, we can clear the cache of your regular browser. This helps remove any browser-related issues and refresh your browser's settings. 
 

  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

 

Aside from that, you can use other compatible browsers in QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, you'll want to manually send your paychecks or paystubs to your employees. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then click the Employees tab.
  2. Click the Paycheck list link.
  3. Set the date range for the paychecks you want to send.
  4. Check the paychecks.
  5. Click the Print button, then save it as a PDF.
  6. Email them to your employees.

No Workforce Emails after running payroll today?

The issue is probably not browser related as we were able to finish payroll and everything processed fine. Typically after payroll is processed through everyone receives an email with a link to view their paystubs. Those emails were just not sent out today.

 

So I'm more wondering if this is just a temporary glitch and next pay period we won't have to worry about this or perhaps no one knows there is an issue with the outbound emails yet and it needs to be looked into.

No Workforce Emails after running payroll today?

We have the same issue. For the past 2 runs of payroll employees did not receive the email notifications. We have not changed any settings and payroll runs fine, they just don't receive the email notification with the link to their pay stub. Did you resolve this issue?

Since your employees didn't receive any workforce emails after you run payroll, it may be due to several reasons. Firstly, ask your employees to check their junk mail and spam folders. Sometimes, essential emails may get filtered to these folders. If your employees have viewed and still cannot find any relevant emails, it's best to contact our support team for further assistance. They have the necessary tools and expertise to conduct a thorough investigation and determine the root cause of the problem.

  1. Go to the Help, and select the Search tab.
  2. Click Contact Us and type your concern in the What can we help you with?
  3. Select Continue.
  4. If done, hit Chat with us or Have us call you.

Providing access to paystubs is an essential part of the payroll process, kapelsko. I have some information to share to answer your inquiry about this.

 

Our system shows there is an open investigation (INV-104241) regarding employees not receiving email notifications from QuickBooks Workforce.

 

Our engineering team is already looking into this issue to sort this out.  We've also created a tracking list of all affected users. Everyone on this list will be notified once the issue has been resolved.

 

Having said that, please contact our phone or chat support teams for us to add you to it. Here's how to reach out to them: 

 

  1.  Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner of QBO.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern or provide INV-104241 as a reference.
  6. Choose between Have us call you or Chat.

 

In the meantime, you can advise your employees to sign in directly to the QuickBooks Workforce site to access their pay stubs. Additionally, you can print out physical copies and provide it to them.

Kindly follow the steps I mentioned below to enable the notification on the QuickBooks Workforce:

 

  1. Navigate to workforce.intuit.com
  2. Go to Gear icon ⚙.
  3. Choose Email Notification.
  4. Ensure to turn on the Send me an email when new pay stubs are available feature.

 

If the feature is enabled and no email is received, kindly check your spam and junk folders.
