I received a notice from NYS about payroll taxes.    Where do I send it for resolution?

Hello, Denise Patriot.

 

I can route you to the team where you can send the notice for resolution. 

 

You'll want to send us the notice so we can look into it for resolution. If you have the regular payroll service, here's how to reach us: 

 

  1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. On the new pop-up window, enter something like "I received a notice from the state" inside box. 
  4. Click Search.
  5. Scroll down, then choose how you want to reach us.

If you're using our Assisted Payroll service instead, you'll want to email the notice to taxnoticeresolution@intuit.com. Make sure to hand write your EIN (Employer Identification Number) on the first page of the notice before sending it. Then, scan the document for emailing.
