Buy nowI have about 100 contractors on 1099. They get paid every other week., We have a system that tracks hours, rate, and total pay but I have to enter them one by one in QB. is there a way to upload data into QB with their total pay and run contractors payroll?
Hi there, @Miami-User.
I can share information about uploading or importing your contractors' data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Yes, there is a way. You can import them as a vendor list into your account from Outlook, Excel, Gmail, or Google Sheets. Then, just edit the list and check the box for Track payments for 1099. This way, the lists will be reflected on the Contractors page.
For the detailed steps on how to import them, please check out this article: Import customers or vendors from email contacts to QuickBooks Online.
I'm also adding these articles that tackles managing and adding contractors in QBO for more information:

Which time tracking app do you run? You may need a 3rd party connector to integrate it with QBO.
Thank you for all your responses, but I did not post my problem correctly. The contractors are already in QB with the track 1099 payment checked. We have a CRM system that tracks work hours for the contractors and the total amount to be paid which is biweekly. Right now, we have to manually record the total hours worked and total amount in QB to pay the contractors. We want to export the data from the CRM system and import it to QB then pay the contractors. I don’t know if this is possible in QB :(
We have 3rd party CRM system track hours and total amount to be paid … the system can export this data in .TXT or Excel format

What is the name of the CRM app you are using? Or did you develop it inhouse?
