Join nowI pay in weekly for federal taxes after completing each payroll. Last quarter (Q2), I erred by paying the amount of net wages one week instead of just the federal withholding on the EFTPS website. I called my accountant right away to remedy the situation, and he told me create an additional federal withholding line item and subtract the amounts each week until I was back on track. Three weeks later I was back to paying whatever amount was in the liabilities tab. However, now in creating my 941 to send, the payroll liabilities are off by the same amounts I deducted each week to compensate for the overpayment. Help?

I spoke with an agent via chat and was told I would receive a call to resolve the issue. No one called, so I started a new chat. I then received a call, explained my situation, and thought maybe I was on hold but was hung up on after about 10 minutes. This all took place in about an hour and a half without any help in the end.
