After paying your taxes electronically, you'll be able to e-file forms through QuickBooks Payroll.
Here's how:
- Confirm you've paid all taxes related to the form you want to file.
- Go to Taxes, then Payroll tax.
- Click Filings.
- You'll see your forms to file under Action Needed. Forms due later will show in the Coming Up section. You can hit Filter to find your specific form.
- Click File on a form you want to file.
- Make sure the File Electronically option is turned on.
- Select Submit.
If you continue seeing a notice to enter W2 codes while trying to file forms, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
