The option to pay contractors by payroll hour requires you to do it manually. Though QBO is constantly changing based largely on the suggestions and requests of users like yourself. I'll help you enter employee hours worked for payroll.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can enter the total number of hours worked by your employees for the week through the Weekly Timesheets.
Here's how:
1. Go to +New.
2. Select Weekly Timesheet under Employees.
3. Then, enter the total number of hours worked.
4. Once done, click Save and Close.
On the other hand, you can enter it directly when creating paychecks in QBO. I'll show you how:
