Payroll checks not print correctly ( employee name amount to pay ) on QuickBooks online

Thanks for coming back here, @AlexB1!

I've come to present some helpful insights about printing payroll checks in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Any printer can work when printing paychecks in QBO. Just make sure it connects to the device you're using to access the software. Thus, you can use any printer to get this job done seamlessly.

To help you decide the features you need, you'll want to check the different printing device product reviews for performance and quality. Also, one of our Community backers @Fiat Lux - ASIA may have a suggestion on what printer is best to utilize.

I'm adding this link again in case you encounter any printing paychecks issue in the future:  Troubleshoot printing paychecks, pay stubs, and forms.

Also, we've got some pre-defined payroll reports that you can run to monitor your employees and business finances.

You can tap me any time if you need a hand with handling paychecks in QuickBooks. I'd be glad to help you out. Take care!

I'll lend a hand to ensure your paychecks are printed correctly, @AlexB1.

Are you having trouble with the alignment when printing your payroll checks? If so, you'll want to check your printer settings. QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses the default and current printer settings when printing. You'll also want to adjust your Paycheck Printing settings to ensure your checks are printed properly. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. Under the Preferences section, click Paycheck Printing.2.PNG
  3. Adjust the settings, then hit OK.

If you get the same result, you can check out this article for more troubleshooting steps to resolve printing issues in QBO: Troubleshoot printing paychecks, pay stubs, and forms.

Once you fix the printing issue, you might want to pull up payroll reports to check your employees' earnings and other current payroll data. For more guidance on pulling them up, feel free to read this article: Payroll reports.

Our doors are always open to help you again if you need further assistance printing paychecks in QBO. Have a good one.
