Payroll data can't be sent

My send payroll option is gone. I searched for it and QB is showing "This operation is not available because a QuickBooks feature, known to me as "CDS_Payroll.CloudV2OrAssistedOrDD", is not available. Will that become available again?

I'll make sure that you can get rid of this error, mrd0273.

 

The error that you've encountered usually occurs when there's a certain patch note or update that wasn't downloaded to the program. To isolate the issue, you'll want to make that you're using the latest QuickBooks Desktop product release version and tax table. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Go to the Update Now tab. You can select the Reset Update checkbox to clear all previous update downloads.
  4. Select Get Updates to start the download.
  5. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  6. When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.
  7. Get the latest payroll tax table update.

However, if the same thing happens, I'd recommend sending your usage data . This will allow you to synchronize your payroll data to our server.
