Payroll figures dont march

I can help you sort this out, @davekolima.

Mismatched between the employee payroll totals and company payroll totals usually occurs when you enter your prior payroll. You can run the Payroll Tax and Wage Summary or the Payroll Details reports and use any of the reports in verifying your employees' payroll information. Both reports show your employees' wages, deductions, and tax info.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Payroll section.
  3. Double-click on the following reports:
    • Payroll Tax and Wage Summary
    • Payroll Details

If you haven't created any payroll checks yet, you can modify your payroll history. Here's how:

  1. Go back to the Payroll menu.
  2. Choose Finish adding your team.
  3. Select the employee.
  4. Scroll down and select Enter [current year] prior pay details.

However, if you already have entered payroll checks, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support team. A specialist will be able to securely access your account and further assist you with reviewing your payroll data. Also, they have the tool to perform payroll correction if needed.
