Buy nowYes I'm currently trying to set up my payroll on quickbooks online. I am having troubles getting the tax setup portion to go through with out having UI Insurance. Is ther any way that i can set this up with out htat for now?
Welcome to QuickBooks Community, WendtMowing. I'll help you fix this one.
Yes, there is. QuickBooks allows you to set up your payroll without entering Unemployment Insurance (UI). I'd like to know what error you encounter when trying to proceed with the setup. This helps me isolate the issue and resolve it right away.
To confirm, you can look at the sample screenshot below and select the No, use 2.73 for now option. No worries, you can still update the rate after the setup: Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate.
If the same thing happens, let's use an incognito window. This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files.
If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance: Delete browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online.
We can check these articles on how we can generate the information you need using available payroll reports. It explains how to produce payroll reports and distribute payroll data via Excel.
If you have more questions about about setting up payroll or anything related to QuickBooks Online payroll, please don't hesitate to comment below. I'll help you right away. Take care!
