Buy nowHello. We upgraded from QuickBooks Desktop in to QBO late 2022 and began processing our payroll with the new system in mid-January. When I went to file our Q1 taxes, I noticed that our first paycheck of this year was not in the system, causing our taxes to be incorrect. Because I used QuickBooks payroll to process our direct deposits after that, I had to contact support to have the missing pay period added. They added the missing information so that my taxes were correct, but now that I'm getting ready to process W-2s, I have noticed that the YTD wage totals are not correct. The wage information is NOWHERE to be found. I cannot find journal entries for anything other than the tax information. When I try and check the transaction history, I get an error that the information cannot be displayed.
I have called several times and cannot get anyone on the phone that understands what I'm trying to say and not a single one of them has been of any help. I either get conveniently disconnected or am told that the support team manager will escalate the issue and get back to me. I have had several people get back to me, but not about my issue, just to try and get me to sign up for Bookkeeping services or QuickBooks payments.
Has anyone else ever had a similar issue and if so, how was it corrected.
I wish you didn't experience such challenges processing W2s in QuickBooks, @RdmDiesel1. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when things don't go as smoothly as expected.

Wow, what a generic answer that didn't even try to match my issue. I have absolutely NO challenge with my company's W-2s...with the exception of the issue that QBO Support staff created and have still not addressed.
No one calls and when I reach out, I get stuck with someone who has great difficulty understanding what the issue is. I just want someone, ANYONE from Quickbooks to simply UNDO the payroll adjustments that you made so that I may input them correctly for myself. Why do you guys have to make it so difficult to use your software?
