I don't even know where to begin. Now, you are telling us to enter people's date of birth "so you can make the most out of your employee benefits package."
For goodness sakes, do you think every company has a benefit package? We don't have large companies that offer benefits. We have smaller companies that do not offer benefits.
We already have their social security number entered. Some clients don't even ask for a date of birth because they have them complete a W-4.
The next thing you know you will want to know when they start and stop working for the company or maybe even their eye color or hair.
You people do not know when to stop. You are constantly changing quickbooks on line payroll and now you want to know everything about an employee. Would you like a picture of them too?

If that were true, you'd have checked before starting to try to force customers to input data that is not required to calculate payroll. You'd have found out how dumb an idea that is before you did it.
I have one more statement regarding the desktop payroll birthdate request. Do you people not think that this is discriminatory to ask for this? You are getting as bad as the government wanting to know everything about everyone.
