Quickbooks Support is the WORST

I asked for assistance with correcting company-paid contributions on two employee's paystubs and QBO support created such a mess in doing so!! They have incorrectly reissued EVERY paycheck for this year for one employee, which has thrown off the child support liability account, thrown off my reconciliation AND the net pay for every single check he received so far, this year. I can't even correct my reconcilation because the net pay doesn't match bank records!! I created a case/ticket to get this corrected before having to process payroll this week and all they did was create an adjustment check for the difference in child support--this DID NOT correct the net pay issue! They sent an email letting me know the case had been corrected and closed and did not need to erase the incorrect data on previous checks because it didn't affect taxes!! I literally gave them the correct gross pay, tax amount, child support deduction, AND NET PAY of each check for this year and they STILL DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. I used to love Quickbooks, but it has become the worst. I will be looking into new software for my boss because this is beyond ridiculous!! It all could've been avoided had the support team taken note of the data they were deleting BEFORE they erased it!! I'm so frustrated. I'll never recommend QB to anyone, again.

I wish you didn't have to go through all these hurdles when working with QuickBooks Online Payroll. I'll make it up to you by ensuring you get the best support available so that this gets taken care of right away. 

 

To address this issue right away, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. I understand you've already reached out to them. However, it would be best to contact them again. They have the proper tools to look into your account and perform a screen-sharing session to get the payroll corrections redone.

 

Here’s how to get in touch with them:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the ? Help button at the top right corner.
  3. Go to the Search tab, then select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief discussion about your concern, then click Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

Quickbooks Support is the WORST

I've already done that, this morning, and was told nothing could be done to expedite the process. I was told "the case is open and is being worked on but unfortunately we cannot give you a date/time when it will be resolved." So, it appears I'll have to wait 15-25 days for this issue to be resolved, which could delay my reconciliation for this month since I can't close January due to THEIR MISTAKE. Additionally, I'll have to explain to this employee why his paystubs are incorrect and tell him he'll have to wait to see the correction, even though he is no longer employed with our company. End result, Quickbooks support is still a disappointment and complete waste of time.
