QuickBooks Time app invitation

How can we change the invite to our employees to download the QB Time application?  I'm not finding anything in help that relates to this specifically.

Congrats on making your first post here. Let's work together and get your question about invites answered. 

 

To clarify, are you referring to the invite message? If so, this can't be edited. However, you can send in a feature request so that our Product Developers can consider this in the future with this guide. 

 

If not, then please send a screenshot of what you'd like to change on the invites. For more details, check out this link about adding and managing team members

QuickBooks Time app invitation

The message reads as follows:

 

SALLY SCOTT of JCB2, LLC has invited you to track time with QuickBooks Time.

 

We have several companies and I want the message to show Lester Brothers instead of JCB2, LLC.  Is this something you can update for me?

Thanks for getting back with the Community about this, Sally-Lester Brothers.
 

You can change your company's name in QuickBooks Time by accessing the settings screen and updating it.
 

Here's how:

  1. In your left navigation bar, go to Company Settings.
  2. On the Company Details screen, enter your company's name in the Company name field.
  3. Select Save.


After changing your company name, each invitation will display the updated information.

The invitation is not being received on my or any other employees phone!

Hey ZZ24,

 

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Just to verify, did you send the invitation by email or choose the text message option? In the meantime, let's go ahead and resend the invitations. Here's how:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team and select a team member to open their details.
  2. In General, select Send invite or Resend invite.
