Join nowhow to avoid 1 cent deference on paycheck each week, about Medicare tax.
You shouldn't, really. It's normal for percentage taxes to behave this way.
but is there a way to make it the same each week ? the employee don't want to have a deferent amount on check each week.
maybe like a half year it should be 1 amount & the other half year the other amount.
Thanks for getting back to us, @The prime lister.
Since QuickBooks calculation is compliant with the IRS, we're unable to calculate the difference by half of each year or make it the same week.
This is to ensure that the calculation of your employee's taxes is accurate. Also, you can refer to section 15 of IRS Publication 15 it has a helpful table summarizing different types of employee pay.

RE: but is there a way to make it the same each week ?
No, there isn't. This happens to almost everyone no matter who calculates the paycheck. I used to get paid via ADP and it happened with them. Same is true for most all payroll systems.
RE: The employee don't want to have a deferent amount on check each week.
Maybe they should just be happy they are getting a paycheck?
