You can use QuickBooks Payroll or QuickBooks Contractor Payment to send direct deposit payments to your contractor. At the same time, use direct deposit to pay open bills in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Additionally, QuickBooks provides a variety of reports that will help you check your contractor or vendor payments. You can generate the Expenses by Vendor Summary report or any other vendor report to track contractor transactions and ensure to filter them to specific information to get the data you need.
