Can I set up batch pays for contractors using direct deposit in the payroll module?

I have multiple contractors to pay on a regular basis. I just started using the Payroll function in QBO and would like to be able to batch pay my contractors. Is there a way to do this or must they all be paid one by one?

Currently, using the batch action for direct deposit payments for contractors is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can only record the payment one at a time for direct deposit.

1. Go to the Gear icon.

2. Under Profile, select Feedback.

3. Share your feedback in the dialogue box.

4. Click Next.

Additionally, you can look for a third-party application that can integrate with QuickBooks in using the batch function for direct deposit payments. Just visit the following website: apps.intuit.com. You can also do this inside your company, just go to the Apps menu on the left panel and then enter a keyword in the search field.

Thank you - yes, it would be extremely helpful as I pay a lot of summer contractors and I thought when I started QB payroll I would be able to integrate them with the payroll as I have done with a previous 3rd party vendor. I will make the suggestion where indicated.
