Can not add time to newly created projects

Just did switch to QBO. I can add expenses to newly created projects, but I cannot add time immediately after project creation. Usually, I can add time after about 24 hours, but I have three projects that won't populate for time entry after 36 hours wait time. Is there a way to force time synchronization?

Can not add time to newly created projects

Good morning, info@elementanal.

Thank you for joining us here in the Community. I want to make sure you're able to add time to your Projects in QuickBooks Online.

To rule out any browser related issues I recommend clearing the cache first. The cache is in place to collect frequently used data to make loading web pages quicker and easier. If it becomes too full it can potentially cause certain viewing and performance errors within the system. Clearing the cache will remove anything that is preventing the Project pages to load properly and add new time. Here's how to get this done if you're using Chrome for example:

1. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots).
2. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
3. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."
5. Click Clear data.

The following article provides similar steps for other browsers: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online

Please give these steps a try and then attempt to add the time once more. I'll be here if you need additional assistance or have any other questions.

Can not add time to newly created projects

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, I had attempted all that previously and without success. After a couple calls with Customer Support, I learned this condition is being experienced by others. In case any others are still searching for solutions and come to this site, we have learned that renaming projects seems to resolve the time entry issue. I cannot explain it but it has worked on the last four projects that initially disallowed time entries. Hopefully the issue will get resolved soon.
