Can the payroll reports be normalized? Data normalization is key to our success for query of actual data.

Let me provide information about normalizing payroll reports to query actual data efficiently in QuickBooks Online (QBO), GWNWUPDF.

In QBO, the option to automatically generate reports for data related to EEOC, Social Security, BOL, and Workers' Compensation is currently unavailable. We'd love to hear your insights and recommend sending feedback to our product developers. This way, they can review and consider adding it in future updates.

Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.

However, you can still customize your payroll reports to show specific data and export them as needed. The normalization process may differ for each payroll and accounting report based on your requirements.

Furthermore, you can create a payroll summary report to see what you've paid in your QuickBooks Payroll.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with regarding your payroll reporting needs in QuickBooks Online.

The report customization is limited because the data for one column is in one cell when exported to Excel. For example, Personal Info column > Employee Details report contains the name, address, DOB, and gender in one cell when exported to Excel. We need first name, last name, DOB, Street, City, State, Zip, Gender in its own columns.
