Can we track employee's vacation schedules on QBO?

Hi @nikkivallejos,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can provide clarification about QuickBooks Online's capability.

Currently, the option to track an employee's vacation schedules directly in the system is unavailable. As a workaround, I recommend using a third-party application that will serve as a tracker for the schedules.

I've checked for an app that you can link with QuickBooks to track the information you need and found MinuteWorx. Since we can't suggest which one to use, you can review the description and overview on how it works.

If it's applicable on your end, you can use the app. Please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. On the left navigation bar, click Apps.
  3. Go to the Find Apps tab.
  4. Use the search bar to find the app (enter "MinuteWorx" in the search field)
  5. Click the app name to view the details. 3.JPG

Also, it would be beneficial to have this feature directly in the product. While we assess this ability, I suggest sharing your idea with our product engineers too. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share you feedback, then hit Next to submit.

For additional reference, you can use the following article to learn about the possible causes why a vacation time stops accruing in QuickBooks: Sick and vacation time incorrect or not accruing on paychecks.

Drop me a comment below if you have additional questions about the features available in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to help you some more.
